The Base is not a ‘church’, the people of God make up The Church. The Base is a Kingdom center created to equip, instruct, mobilize and send people into destiny. We are focused on the Kingdom of God and want to build strong relationships with those who have the same desires. We offer a creative environment for expression of the arts, song writing, writing, and developing of spiritual gifting. We operate as a local spiritual community and extended tribe of people across the United States. We host state wide meetings on a regular basis and bring in nationally known speakers that we are in relationship with. In addition, we are the apostolic alignment of several ministries in other states.
MISSION IS PEOPLE
At the Base, we see the need for everyone to have a solid individual identity in God to properly grow and function. God has created you as a unique and wonderfully made person with specific attributes. We see part of our role is to help you find that identity and discover who God has made you to be and how to use your life, gifts and passions to know and glorify Him. Our desire is to help enable every believer to be able to go on mission of some kind to bring Kingdom Culture into life surrounding them. We provide opportunities for you to explore your gifts and watch yourself move in strengths you knew were there and maybe even some you did not know existed. Your life and identity are important to God and His Body. Currently we have a mandate to find the “David Hearts “in our region and begin to bring those of like faith together. Our hope is to share our lives while relentlessly pursuing God together in community.
VISION IS AWAKENING
Our primary focus and mandate is to see a true awakening come to our state and nation. We desire to see the Church worldwide as a united, vibrant, alive family that works together instead of competes, to impact culture and society with Biblical, Kingdom based principles while modeling the teachings of Christ. We describe this Church as a group of ’awakened’ Christians that refuse to be spiritually asleep or just to occupy space in a pew out of ritual. They feel compelled to be engaged with God on an individual level to where their very life carries His love and overflows with Godly influence. So essentially, our hope is to be a catalyst to awaken the hearts of men to touch the culture around them.
EMPHASIS IS IMPLEMENTED
We have several emphases at the Base. Primary is to create an atmosphere where God’s presence is and people can have an encounter with Him. This is done by scripturally based and Spirit-energized creative worship and praise and revelatory truth to awaken and empower people into identity, purpose and destiny.
We have a strong emphasis on raising of emerging leaders and generations through intentional discipleship and spiritual fathering. This is by opportunity and vision for the individual. From these types of relationships, we develop Five-Fold ministry gifts to go out and advance the Kingdom of God by establishing ministries, churches and regional training centers. This is both a national and international focus.
As a fully functioning Kingdom Center in Iowa, we are connecting leaders and churches by holding state gatherings to impart truth and release individuals into functioning in their gifting. We travel to conduct mobile schools, speaking to different gatherings and helping give counsel as needed. We also have our online School of Ministry available for training.
We have a mandate to release revelation to feed the nation. This has been accomplished by live streaming, blogging, and writing of published books. The online following of the Base is very wide spread and reaches into many different social media streams.
We are involved in weekly prayer year around at our state capitol that includes legislators during Session. We also are focused on the state of Iowa with a weekly scheduled time of intercession specifically for this by using the six types of prayer found in scripture.
The Base offers apostolic alignment and commissioning of Kingdom leaders into destiny: This involves encouraging and releasing members of the Body of Christ to influence and impact the seven mountains of culture beyond the Church by becoming involved in business, civil government, education, family, media, arts and entertainment. It also is reflected in covering and oversight for existing ministries, alignments for Kingdom advance and counseling of leaders already active in ministry. Currently there are several leaders taking advantage of this outside of Iowa and even overseas.
We are building a new wineskin of true community with a new wine of sonship. We believe in honoring each other and esteeming each other as not just brothers and sisters but as true sons and daughters of God. We see each carrying a part to make a whole. The wineskin of community is not so a set leader can be seen, but so the people of God can be seen! Within this container of appreciation and honor, an unlimited number of people can be the expression for true sons and daughters. This is forming a single corporate man and expression of the seven fold nature of Christ so those seven graces will be present.
